Volumetric Dutch house is the newest hype in the architecture and design news. The volumetric house is officially named Villa S2, and was built by MARC Architects in Amsterdam. The area is blessed with a gorgeous lake view that is sure to offer tranquility and serenity to the dwellers. Here is a deeper look at the beautiful modern house. Volumetric Dutch House Layout and Design The volumetric Dutch house is almost all covered in glasses except for the horizontal woods covering the garage, door and some window parts. Lustrous white marble is used for most part of the house including the deck, creating a polished and sophisticated look. The whole house and the deck are raised above the ground almost to a floating effect, with lush vegetation and a lake surrounding them. The inside of the 3,230 square feet house is decorated with minimalist style, which is not surprising considering the geometrical look of the volumetric Dutch house. The few existing walls are all painted in white, with built-in fireplace and sink. Some of the parts, like the living room, are raised half-a-floor, creating a unique and functional layout.
